First,Let’s start with what are the 4 main skin types?

There are typically four skin types that are talked about in skincare and these are;

  1. normal
  2. combination
  3. oily and 
  4. dry

How do I know my skin type?

  • If your skin appears shiny throughout, you likely have oily skin.
  • If it feels tight and is flaky or scaly, you likely have dry skin. 
  • If the shine is only in your T-zone, you probably have combination skin. 
  • If your skin feels hydrated and comfortable, but not oily, you likely have normal skin.

Beginner’s Guide:

For beginners, we recommend starting with a basic three step routine—cleanse, moisturize, and apply sunscreen. Of course, this can be modified, and products can be added depending on your individual skincare needs. For example, if you're struggling with acne, you may consider adding a spot treatment.


Basic Skincare Routine :

Step 1: Cleanse(Make cleansing step one of an easy skincare routine.)

Step 2: Tone(Try a toner to prep skin for moisturiser.)

Step 3: Serum & Booster(Add serum or booster to your basic skincare routine.)

Step 4: Moisturise

Step 5: Mask & exfoliate


The top three necessities for skin care routine?

While some of the extras, like serums and toners, can be great additions to your routines when used properly, the top three necessities are a cleanser, a moisturizer and a sunscreen. You don't need expensive items or a long list of products to have healthy and clear skin.
